Our Story

Our journey began over 50 years ago when John Foster, a passionate beekeeper, established B-Z Bee Pollination, Inc. in the welcoming community of Esparto. Growing up in a beekeeping family, John inherited a wealth of knowledge and a genuine love for the intricate world of bees. Today, alongside his wife and children, he continues to lead the company with the same dedication and hands-on approach that has been our hallmark from the start.

Nestled in the northern Sacramento region, our location offers a moderate climate ideal for maintaining our 30,000+ hives. This strategic positioning also provides us with easy access to clients throughout California and the West Coast, where the demand for reliable pollination services is significant. We are proud to support local growers of almonds, tree fruits, sunflowers, and seed crops, leveraging our generations of experience to ensure successful pollination and bountiful harvests.

What Makes Us Unique

At B-Z Bee Pollination, Inc., our story is deeply intertwined with the hum of honeybees and the fertile lands of California's Central Valley. For three generations, our family has dedicated itself to the art and science of beekeeping, cultivating a profound respect for these essential pollinators and a commitment to providing exceptional services and products.

Sam Foster

President and Operator

As the President and Operator of a family-owned bee pollination business with a proud 40-year legacy, Sam brings both tradition and innovation to the heart of the beekeeping community. Taking the reins from his father, who founded the business five decades ago, Sam carries forward a deep respect for the land, the bees, and the farmers they serve. With hands-on experience that started in childhood, he now leads operations with a commitment to sustainable practices, healthy hives, and strong client relationships. Under his guidance, the business continues to thrive—bridging generations of hard work, integrity, and dedication to supporting crop production through expert pollination services.
